Video Album: In the Clocktower
This live video album features ten new songs from the Spark & Echo Band performed and recorded in our loft in the South Bronx. The collection was filmed by Michael Markham, and recorded and mixed by J Scott Hinkley.
Songs include an accordion setting of Miriam and Moses' song of thanks after crossing the Red Sea, a heartbreaking response to the "Test for the Unfaithful Wife" from the book of Numbers, a bassoon-driven country tune retelling a trip to Nashville as an epic sea battle, a juxtaposition of verses from Matthew with a Chopin prelude and Grieg nocturne, and a harmonization of King David's regret over the acts of his sons, and more.
