Jonathon Roberts is a composer for games, film, theatre, and ensembles. His style and flexibility was born out of conservatory classical and jazz studies, and evolved through quality life adventures: touring the country in an RV with a one person theater piece, living in Brooklyn with an improv music ensemble, performing in a downtown NYC absurdist comedy band, and writing music for a renowned slot machine company. He has released four albums including the latest, Cities, a chamber rock song cycle.

He is the creator the popular podcast/web series ComposerDad vs. Bible, in which ComposerDad accepts intense compositional challenges from mysterious Bible, while out with kids. He also founded the long-standing NYC arts nonprofit Spark and Echo Arts. From Wisconsin, he lives in Beacon, New York, with his wife, actor Emily Clare Zempel, their children, and a tangled box of electrical cords.
